What Meter tracks

Meter is Verixet’s ledger for AI token spend. Events are ingested through the Meter API (for example POST /api/v1/meter/usage/events per your deployment’s OpenAPI), then rolled into daily time series, month-to-date totals, and anomaly signals compared to prior periods.

Why teams use it

Cost spikes rarely fail loudly — they show up as invoices. Meter ties usage to model, app, and end user so operators can see which surfaces drive spend before finance does.

Where you see it

Dashboard views surface MTD totals, forecasts, and threshold alerts without extra client instrumentation — the same session-scoped dashboard that holds keys and request logs.
